'About me'... briefly!

I live in the beautiful Interior of British Columbia; I have five wonderful children, 11 beautiful grandchildren, and two great-grandsons! Some live far away.

When I have the chance, I love doing 'granny' things, but much of my time is spent with poetry, photography, gardening, website work and volunteering in the community.

I hope that some of my work will provide a moment or two of inspiration, and perhaps a pause for reflection...

Moment of Clarity

The tree has trembled, oh so slightly; sends
a quiver through the air. A moment's caught
among the branches -- twirling in a wisp
of light. Then softly, slowly, it descends
beneath a tiny parachute of thought.

I catch it on my finger; feel it spin
a mind connection....suddenly, I know!
In every heart a purity exists --
a flame that burns its essence deep within;
a strength to take us where we want to go.
